| "When
the hand of death is laid upon those whom you love and our
spirit seems torn in two, climb the Hill of Calvary to be
consoled by the Mother of Sorrows who is also the cause of our
joy" - Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen |

|
The beautiful
words of the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen describe to us the
connection between Our Blessed Mother's titles; Our lady of
Sorrows and Cause of Our Joy. We pray that God will
instill in our hearts a deeper love of Our Blessed Mother as
we pray together at La Pieta Prayer Group, attend Holy Mass at
Mother of Joy House of Prayer as well as other places of
prayer. One mother with many titles - to La Pieta Prayer
Group, Our Lady of Sorrows and Cause of Our Joy has a very
special meaning. We always try to invoke her during our
sorrows and our joys because she is the Mother of Pieta and
the Cause of Our Joy - the Mother of God and our Mother.
