Emma's presence at Mother of Joy House of Prayer has brought many people closer to Jesus and Mary; she continues to share her multiple gifts with everyone. Since Emma has been praying with people at the Prayer House, there have been both spiritual and physical healings attributed to her intercessory prayers. She brings peace and joy wherever she goes. During the Second International Reunion of the La Pieta Prayer Group on Sunday, July 26, 1998 on the feast of St. Anne, Mother of Joy House of Prayer was dedicated to Emma and a special song entitled, Emma, A Beacon of Light: , was written for her and sung by the Syracuse La Pieta Prayer Group.
